Heavenly juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, spicy tasting the oatmeal patties. Yeast flakes provide them with a slightly cheesy flavor. The oat fritters are also vegan, healthy and filling. They are quick to make with this recipe and can be served in many ways.

Ingredients
120grolled oats
200mlboiling water
1onion
3cloves ofgarlic
1bunchdill
1tbspyeast flakes
1tsppaprika powder
1/4tspnutmeg
salt
pepper
vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
Put rolled oats in a mixing bowl, pour boiling water over it and let it swell for 15 minutes.
Finely chop onion, garlic and dill, add them to the oatmeal mixture and stir.
Add yeast flakes, paprika powder, nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste and stir.
Form flattened patties from the oatmeal mixture, keep moistening your hands with a little water.
Add some vegetable oil to the pan and heat it. Fry the oatmeal patties in it over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
Notes
Instead of water, you can soak rolled oats in vegetable broth.
You can adjust the amount of onion and garlic to taste.
Other herbs, such as parsley or spring onions, will work instead of dill.
