The kefir ice cream with banana tastes refreshing, sweet sour and uniquely delicious. With this recipe, you can make it at home using just three ingredients and without an ice cream maker. It is possible to replace bananas with other fruits.
Peel bananas, cut them into pieces and put them in a blender.
Pour in kefir and agave syrup.
Mix to a homogeneous mass.
Transfer the banana kefir mixture to a freezer-safe container and place in the freezer for approx. 10 hours until it solidifies.
Using a tablespoon, add the kefir ice cream to the blender one piece at a time and beat briefly until creamy. If the ice cream is too hard, leave it at room temperature for a few minutes beforehand.
Pour the mixture back into the freezer-safe container and place in the freezer for another 2 hours.
You can then serve the kefir ice cream with banana.
Notes
Only very ripe bananas are suitable for this recipe.
You can adjust the amount of agave syrup to taste. You can also use maple syrup, honey or powdered sugar instead.
The freezing time specified depends heavily on the size of your container. If you use a wide container so that the ice cream mixture is spread quite thinly inside, it will freeze more quickly.
Instead of bananas, you can use other fruits (preferably frozen). Read more about this in the article above.
