If you want to drink the turmeric latte cold, leave it to cool after straining and then serve with ice cubes.
Notes
You can make the turmeric latte from cow's milk or a plant-based milk alternative. Almond milk, oat milk or cashew milk are suitable for this.
The basic spice for Golden Milk is turmeric. You can replace or omit the other spices as you wish.
Instead of turmeric powder, you can use fresh turmeric root. Peel it and grate it finely. Note that the fresh spice has a more intense flavor.
Do not use too much spice, especially not too much turmeric. Otherwise the drink could taste bitter. It's better to use less at first and add more spice later.
You can adjust the amount of agave syrup to taste. Maple syrup, honey and date paste can be used instead. You can also do without a sweetener.
Store the homemade turmeric latte in a sealable glass bottle in the fridge. It will keep for around 3 to 4 days.
